About Me
Then…
… and Now
Samantha Stemmler is a born and raised Calgary, AB based artist. She has had a passion for all things creative from a young age, which today is expressed primarily in acrylic, and occasionally mixed mediums. The subject matters she is drawn to are often very detail oriented, or architectural in nature. Her inspiration comes from a healthy dose of wanderlust, the locations she has travelled to, and often circles back to the West Coast, a favourite destination and where her soul feels at peace amid the salt spray air, sand, and crying gulls. .
Samantha has the following certifications and courses under her belt, and continues to be passionate about learning new techniques, art history fun facts, and exploring different perspectives and world views. She is also interested in the ways in which art can be used as a healing modality - for both mental and physical health, is pursuing becoming a Reiki master, and is taking ongoing courses and certifications in the subject.
